Compliance Statement
AVM Ltd is aware of its environmental responsibilities and our Environmental Statement is available on the web-site.

In addition to the undertakings therein, AVM Ltd are also committed to complying with any further legislation and directives that may be introduced from time to time and also to identifying and addressing its own environmental issues where regulations may not currently be applicable.

AVM Ltd is committed to achieving compliance to the RoHS and the WEEE directives in time for their introduction later this year.

Obviously, due to the nature of our services, we will still be required to service certain older types of equipment with non-compliant spares but shall be looking ahead in this area to phasing out this practice as soon as practicable.

Assessment of Supply Chain Exposure
AVM Ltd have undertaken a review of their suppliers from boxed product to component level and are in the process of communicating with them to collate information on their state of compliance and that of the products that may affect AVM Ltd.

Assessment and Qualification of Suppliers
AVM Ltd are neither equipped nor suitably skilled to be able to chemically analyse incoming products for their compliance so have developed a formal compliance assessment procedure.

• Product and component suppliers shall be required to complete our Compliance Questionnaire that shall go into detail regarding the items that they supply to us.
• Supplier's websites or other corporate documentation shall be monitored to ensure that continuing compliance is achieved.
• A database of suppliers and key products has been constructed and shall be updated with all supplier details and integrated with our Supplier Selection Quality Systems.
• Suppliers of products or components that have a higher possibility of being non compliant shall be given assessment priority.
• Non-compliant product will be given follow up action and procurement suspended whilst suitable alternatives are sought, if practicable.
• Questionnaires and supplier compliance shall be reissued and revisited where necessary.

It is AVM Ltd's intention to cease the purchase of non-compliant products or components if a statement of compliance cannot be obtained from the manufacturer or supplier.
