Free Visualiser Safety Check

We have recently been informed by the manufacturer that a handful of Elmo visualisers sold in Japan between 1999 and 2005 have flourescent tubes which, when fitted incorrectly, can overheat and in extremely rare incidences, pose a risk of fire.

Units affected are as follows:

EV–550AF
EV-450AF
EV-6500AF
EV-8500AF
HV-5500XG
HV-7500SX
HV-8500XS (up to series no. 450540) and
HV-5600XG (up to series no. 551079)

It is worth stressing that no such incidents have occurred anywhere in the UK or Europe but as Elmo's sole UK distributor, AVM are offering a free precautionary check for those affected.
